Application

1. Pesticide intermediate:amide fungicide intermediate

2. Edible flavors (flavoring agents): natural equivalent flavors and artificial flavors

3. Used in perfumery and pharmaceutical industry, also used as plant growth hormone

4. It is mainly used to prepare cream, chocolate, peach, strawberry, vanilla bean, honey, beer and other flavors, but also for tobacco (especially Havana cigar) flavors.

5. Phenylacetic acid is an intermediate of the fungicide benzeyl, the insecticide Dafengsan, the rodenticide dichlorpyrifos, and chloramphenicol.
