About Brachiosaurus

Brachiosaurus was one of the large dinosaurs that lived in the late Jurassic and early cretaceous, and you can tell a brachiosaurus from a model of a brachiosaurus by the fact that its forelimbs were longer than its hind legs. Its shoulders are about 5.8 metres from the ground, and its head is about 15 metres from the ground when it is raised. Although it may be foraging for the leaves of the high treetops, some scientists think it will not hold its head up for long - which would make it very difficult to pump blood up. It was certainly easy for such a large animal to feed on the branches and leaves of tall trees. Like other giant plant-eating dinosaurs, it had a long neck and a small head with a hump on the top of its head, its nose. Brachiosaurus had tall forelimbs, raised shoulders, and its entire body leaned back along the shoulders, a situation that can be seen on some tall animals such as giraffes today.

Brachiosaurs had a huge body and a long neck. Their bodies were too heavy. They were 23 meters long and weighed 40 tons. All of these dinosaurs were plant-eaters, and because their bodies were so heavy, they had all four legs. Still, it's hard to move around, so you have to use the buoyancy of water to lose some weight and avoid the attacks of carnivorous dinosaurs. During the Jurassic period, the climate was warm and plants flourished, providing convenient conditions for the growth of dinosaurs.

One of the things about reptiles is that their bodies are growing all their lives, and all kinds of dragons are eating and growing and growing, and large dinosaurs like brachiosaurs are growing faster and eating more. After eating the plants around them, they can eat the plants far away without moving their bodies with their long necks. Because their necks are very long and slow to rotate, if they grow a large head, it will be more bulky. Therefore, their heads are very small and out of proportion to the whole body. Their bodies look strange to us now. We know that the brain is the command of the body's action "headquarters", a small brain is not able to coordinate the body movement, and brachiosaurus is exactly like this. To resolve this contradiction, the central nervous system of brachiosaurus expanded and expanded at the waist, forming a ganglion that divided internal organs and limbs for the brain, which is what the experts call the "second brain" and the "dinosaur had two heads."

About Diplodocus

Anyone who has a little impression of dinosaurs knows diplodocus. For a long time in the past, diplodocus is the representative of dinosaurs and the most dinosaur of dinosaurs. The diplodocus has a large body, a long neck, a small head that is completely out of proportion to the body, and a slender, whip-like tail. Diplodocus is considered to be the most successful dinosaur of the sauropod dinosaurs, living on land in North America for more than 10 million years.

Unlike the brachiosaurus we often mention, the nose of the diplodocus is above the eye because it has no way to raise its neck, but it also expands the area where diplodocus is eating in situ. The extremely large size of diplodocus is enough to directly shock the top predators of its contemporaries, such as allosaurus and carnivorous dinosaurs such as horned dragons. Diplodocus has a long tail and a long tail, but the torso is relatively short, so its neck is relatively small, but tough, but there is no way to bend freely.

Although diplodocus is huge, but the weight is not heavy, generally only a dozen tons of weight, this weight is already very light compared to its relatives. It has fewer teeth and only grows in the front of the mouth, and the teeth are relatively small, so the diplodocus recipe is more sturdy, it only eats tender and juicy plants. When eating, its slender tail can play a vital role in protecting itself. When diplodocus is eating, the tail will twitch constantly, and the diplodocus's tail is more than 13 meters long, and it is very powerful, and the effective torso is trying to attack its predator when it eats low.

Diplodocus has a small head, so it can be inferred that the dinosaur is not very clever, and because its teeth are small and short, it does not chew when it is eaten, and it is swallowed directly. Diplodocus's head is often drooping, so it looks like a big ship walking on land. From the tail to the head, the body of the diplodocus is supported by a series of interconnected central axis bones with a slender tail but containing up to 70 bones!

Unexpectedly, the diplodocus is huge, but it can support itself from the ground with the strength of the neck and tail. In addition to the powerful tail, it encounters large predators, and diplodocus can even stand up temporarily. ! Use its huge forelimbs to defend itself. The foot of the diplodocus grows on the sole of the foot so that its huge body does not put a lot of pressure on the muscles of the body. Scientists have disputed whether Liang Long has the ability to raise his neck to eat the leaves of the tree, but the heart may not be able to produce enough blood pressure to transport blood to the brain. But diplodocus can hang down the neck to 45 degrees to find the danger on the ground.

Because of the need to deliver oxygen to the huge body, paleontologists speculate that Liang Long is likely to have two hearts that are used to pump blood to the body. Diplodocus does not build their own nests to lay eggs, but they use ready-made shallow pits to lay eggs. Moreover, diplodocus is a very fast-growing race in the sauropod. It takes only ten years to reach sexual maturity and body size, which improves the survival rate of diplodocus to some extent. During the long growing time, diplodocus is difficult to survive and will be hunted by predators in adulthood.

Diplodocus has the habit of taking care of young dinosaurs. Although the egg of diplodocus is only about the size of a football, it is hard to imagine that such a small egg will have a later behemoth. Liang Long also has the habit of migration, so how the cubs in the diplodocus group successfully join the adult group is still an unsolved mystery. But because diplodocus grows very fast, there is enough power to protect itself. Diplodocus can last for more than a hundred years, but it takes only 10 years to grow into adulthood, which can be seen as an evolutionary advantage of diplodocus.

Diplodocus is not only one of the earliest dinosaurs discovered by humans, but also one of the most intact and complete dinosaurs of bone fossils. Therefore, people still know a lot about diplodocus. This Jurassic star dinosaur was later replaced by his close relative, the Titans, and was extinct before the arrival of the Cretaceous.
